The Good Kids vs. the Bad Kids?

Like many small towns, there are certain areas where the young people will congregate. The “good kids” would gather at Church or school for activities, while the “bad kids” in town who liked to smoke and party would gather at the shopping center or the beaches. One of the most favored beaches had a very large parking area on the beach that was private, and this is where most of the “bad kids” hung out. It was gated and locked every night at midnight.

As a teenager, my older brother Tony began hanging around the “bad kids” in our area which influenced me a great deal. All his friends were so cute and so much fun to be around. And being a sixteen years old young teenager, this is how I was introduced to the “bad kids!” This one time choice “I made” of hanging around these people dictated the next thirty plus years of my life!

Please hear me carefully young girls, as I say this next statement, “You control what you choose to do. But once you choose it, it controls you! This one choice took me down a dark, bondage and burdensome-filled path for decades!”

Grabbing onto the cold cast iron sink for support, I rose up then turned on the cold water. Still leaning on the sink and staring at myself in the mirror, I cupped my hands together to fill with cold water to splash my face.

Lowering my hands from my face and at the same time opening my eyes and seeing myself in the mirror, there was blood from off my finger tips smeared down my cheeks where my fingers had touched my face! With the shock of seeing this I stared down at my hands as my palms were still up and saw them drenched with blood! The blood was dripping off my finger tips. Time then slipped into an eeriness of slow motion as I watched one single drop of blood release it’s self from my little finger then splash onto the white sink slowly and purposely headed to the puddle of blood around the drain!
